Christina R. Jacquin, CPA, is a senior manager at Schowalter & Jabouri, P.C. She graduated cum laude from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, concentration in Accounting.
Ms. Jacquin has a knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS), and generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS). She works with the Governmental and Nonprofit Attest Services Practice to conduct internal and external audit engagements for governmental, nonprofit, and privately held organizations and works with clients ranging from small and mid-sized organizations to large corporations. She is experienced in performing Single Audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance.
Ms. Jacquin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA) and currently serves as on the school audit committee of the MOCPA. Ms. Jacquin has presented training to various organizations, including the MOCPA, the Government Finance Officers Organization (GFOA), and the Missouri Association of School Board Officials (MoASBO) on topics including preparing for an audit, internal controls and the COSO framework, recent accounting pronouncements, post issuance bond compliance, and compliance considerations for parent teacher organizations and school districts.
