John J. Jabouri III, CPA, is a director with nearly ten years of experience in financial statement audits and special projects including internal audits, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and various internal controls, and advisory projects including risk assessments and compliance engagements.

Mr. Jabouri graduated Cum Laude from Saint Louis University with a Master's in Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentrations in both Accounting and Information Technology Management. Prior to joining Schowalter & Jabouri, Mr. Jabouri worked as an auditor at an international accounting firm for three years. In this role, Mr. Jabouri worked on a variety of clients in the financial, non-for-profit, manufacturing, and insurance industries. Currently, Mr. Jabouri works with the Assurance Services team to conduct internal and external engagements for privately held companies, public companies, and non-for-profit organizations. He works with clients ranging from small and mid-sized organizations to large corporations.

He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants (MOCPA). Mr. Jabouri is active in the community. He is a member on both the Junior Advisory Board to the Saint Louis University Accounting Department and the St. Louis Boy Scouts of America Emerging Leaders Network.
